As I consider the world around us, and the natural order in which things work, I have become infatuated with the sun. Here are some interesting facts about the largest star in our solar system.

The sun is at the center of our solar system and is responsible for the Earth’s climate and weather.

The sun has a very strong magnetic field, and holds the earth and other planets in its orbit.

The sun makes up around 99.86% of the Solar System’s mass.

Why the sun? Here’s why.

Everyday the sun rises, and changes the landscape of the world in real time. If you have seen the dark of night without the presence of sunlight, you know that few things are visible, and black covers the canvas of your view like a panoramic photo of attendees in proper attire at a formal event.

When the sun begins to rise, and even before it is fully visible the landscape begins takes shape. The silhouettes of clouds, trees, mountains and all things start to reveal as shadows are cast as a result of the suns ascension, and the full spectrum of colors are manifested.

Once the sun is visible it provides energy and life to our world as plants, animals, humans and all walks of life respond to its presence…even the wind.

The suns only job is to be itself and preform it assigned task. It rises to its height to become wholly radiant, and once there it begins to set again all the while personifying life.

As the sun sets, the landscape is again changed and the sky shows its acceptance of the closing day through the reciprocated transformation of the nights arrival.

Consider this: you are the sun in your own universe, and you remote control the world around you. Your light shines daily, and casts shadows of your presence on everything you encounter.

The sun is ever present, and is nature’s expression of the beginning of our today everyday. As we manage our realities filled with obligations, problems to solve, solutions, and possibilities, remember that the sun has many things to do as well and manages to do them all.

So do as the sun does, and let your light shine in the daily pursuit of happiness and the fulfillment of life. Ascend to the height of your potential, as you work to affect the world around you.

Even when the sun sets and is perceived to be out of sight you can see it’s presence as the full, crescent, or waning moon reflects the light of the sun. I encourage you to ascend, illuminate, radiate, and inspire life in all you do.

When life appears to be more than you can handle and darkness is looming present, please consider the moonlight.
